How we handle an infringement matter

Each matter starts with the right and the evidence, not with a standard letter. The usual sequence is:

1. Rights review: confirm the registration, ownership, scope and any deadline.
2. Evidence: preserve screenshots, purchase-test records, invoices, photographs and the chain of custody.
3. Strategy: choose between a demand letter, customs action, civil claim or settlement, based on cost and commercial objective.
4. Enforcement: issue the demand, file the customs complaint or commence proceedings where appropriate.
5. Resolution: negotiate an undertaking, delivery-up or settlement, and monitor compliance.
